Old postcards from the early 20th century, compared to the same view shown on Google Street View today. The postcards come from my own collection. Almost all of them are from England, mainly showing West London, Middlesex, Surrey, Berks and Bucks. Click on the postcards to see enlarged versions. I like that three-wheeled vehicle, parked in front of the future Chinese restaurant.
ReplyDeleteA super image. Is it another A. C. Sociable car?
ReplyDeleteNot an A. C. Sociable. I have no idea what it is. Looks terrifying though...
DeleteTonight, I found a similar "car" on Wikipedia here: http://tinyurl.com/8moq2l6
