  1. A place I'd surely visit! That's one of the amazing things about England (for me) among other things there as well, but the fact that things from so long ago are still alive and open for business still today!

  2. I'm surprised to see that it was white rather than the Cotswold stone, and I think I like the white better, and it would have been most interesting to step through the arch when it would have lead to carriages and stables.
