  1. That's a handsome building that must date to the very first railway stations. It's interesting that the station code is GOD.

  6. There were never that many taxis waiting when I arrived at Godalming station with heavy suitcases on my way to training venues in the 1990s and early 2000s. I must admit I did not stand and admire the station which looks much more inviting on the postcard.
